About Me
I am Shirley and I am a skin care specialist, medical assistant, phlebotomist, and EKG technician. I love science, the human body, and helping others achieve their personal best.
My journey has been exciting and enlightening. I was born in Israel, but now I have been in America for over 20 years. I graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Exercise Science. I then enjoyed working as a fitness coach and personal trainer. Later I enrolled in San Jose City College, and skin care became my passion.
However, after graduating, I enrolled in the Medical Assistant program at De Anza College. The Medical Assistant knowledge helps give me a unique perspective of the art and science of skin care treatments.

Professional development is key to success. I have attended many workshops and hands-on training to provide you with the utmost best experience. I have earned a Paramedical Esthetics certificate and numerous other certificates in specialty topics to address common skin care concerns in the San Francisco Bay area.
I have the knowledge and tools to excel at what I do and believe. I treat all skin types, including normal, dry, oily, sensitive, or combination. I also treat skin with special needs, such as mature or aging skin, eczema, acne, Seborrhea dermatitis, and more. I proudly opened my new studio ShirSpa in 2021 during the pandemic to serve my community in the Los Gatos, CA, area.
